Dandy Duds  by Rita is an independent business, run by one retired woman.  I, Rita, sew all of the products that I sell.  Sometimes I use commercial and/or European patterns; sometimes I alter a pattern to suit my desire or need, and sometimes I create a design myself, and make or cut-paste to get the pattern.  I work out of my home sewing room, using four sewing machines and two sergers.  I have been sewing for others since 2012; I sewed for all three of my children as they grew.  

I adore sewing.  I love fashion!  I love color, and creativity, and I love uniqueness!  I believe that children want to have a certain amount of autonomy over what they wear, so if it is easy to put on or take off, and it looks good, and it grabs attention - then it is something they will most likely want wear!
